Viateita nodded about getting him some fore food but then paused at his question of stretching his legs, she looked at the chain around his leg and figured that she could undo that so he could stand up fully in the cage. "Well.... I can't really let you out of the cage.... But... I suppose that I could go to the side to undo the chain so that you can at least stand?" She stated in thought.

If Xethi caught him..... Mind, it wasn't like he was out of the cage, he just wasn't chained up so therefore she hadn't exactly set him free. Viateita smiled though, she could see something a little different about Xavier so hopefully she wouldn't have to continue this game, though if the Queen came.... Things would go badly for him.

Xavier half frowned when she mentioned he could not leave his cage and lowered his head, even pouting in disappointment at her until she mentioned that she would come in and remove the rope around his legs. The rope was to keep him from running. He could understand why it was there. If they wanted to keep him in this little bamboo hut which was really very primitive, then they had to take some precautions right? Xavier's eyes snapped up and he grinned when she said she would come in and remove the rope.

"Thank you. I appreciate it greatly. "
He murmured. He could convince her when she was closer, to let him out. He hadn't been outside in ages. He wanted to see the sky... he wanted to feel the sun, surely he could make her understand that.

Nodding, Viateita approached as she gently but quickly undid the rope around his ankle before darting back out, taking the bowl with her and then shutting the cage. "I want be too long, Xavier..... Don't... Try to do anything drastic otherwise my Q... My Boss will know what I did....." She pleaded with him.

Stepping outside, Viateita sighed as she went and got some more food for Xavier, hoping he wouldn't try anything. She'd get into quite a fair bit of trouble if he did.

Mind, it would at least mean his spirit was back and he would be spared from the labour and torture.....

She was too quick for him to even caress her cheek. To even attempt to seduce her and he vowed that he would not try again. He vowed to back off and back up. Oh well, it was worth a thought. She undid the ropes, collected the bowls and was out again. Xavier half pouted. Maybe the drugs were wearing off. He was getting a clearer picture of things now. The girl disappeared and Xavier slowly moved over to the tiny little window to peek out. He had either gone totally insane now or he was dreaming.

Whatever the case may be, he might as well enjoy it. Besides, if either of the two were real he'd have wings right? Carefully he glanced over his shoulder at the crumpled pathetically disjointed wings he had fixed against his back. He gave them a pained expression and slowly began to spread them out wincing. They were stiff and they popped in the joints. Xavier hissed before slowly sitting down in the little patch of sunlight coming through his window and using his tied hands to pull his right wing closer.

Then... he began to fix the feathers that were twisted, pulling broken and tattered ones out and using his spit for lack of water to make the others smooth and sleek. It was a job that would keep him entertained for a while at least.

Viateita sighed as she left the area that held the slaves as she went and got some more food and water for Xavier before she deposited it and went on her way to perform her other duties.

Nerine had gone out to fish like a good warrior but Viateita could trust the young water girl at any rate, they needed to in order to work things out.
