The ride from the castle to her hometown was pleasant, the hooves of the horses pounding against the dirt of the road. The young queen was taking a journey back to her birthplace, a journey brought on due to the date of her birth. Every elvish subject was required to return to their birthplace once a year, on their birthday, to celebrate and offer sacrifices to the gods for another long, happy and healthy year. She was now twenty-one, the age at which she would come into her full inheritance and minor ability to read emotions.
She was looking forward to the transfer of power from the elders. It was a sacred and ancient traditional ceremony that hearkened back to the beginning of Elven history. She shivered slightly in anticipation as they rode closer to the gateway, muttering the phrase and waving back all but her new knight. The two of them rode forward, into the sylvan glade that housed the race of Elves. The greenery looked richer, the air smelled fresher, and the sun shone gently overhead. It was a magical place, and the Elves guarded it with great care.
There was cheering in the streets as she rode in, and flower petals were strewn in the path of the dark brown mare she rode. She acknowledged it all with a slight bow of her head and gracious smiles, reveling for only a moment in the adulation. The elvish community was entirely proud of her marriage and coronation. Having an queen from their midst was something of a rarity, the last elven queen had been over two centuries ago.
Finally, the reached the small hut that had prepared for her and Nalaac waited for her new knight to help her down from her perch. He would be her sole guard here, something the queen had acquiesced to her husband on. She didn't need a guard here, in her home, but due to her station, he demanded it. "Welcome to my home, Sir Brandon."

Brady had a hell of a lot to learn. He'd learned how to handle a horse and had bonded extremely well with one in particular which tended to sense that he was blind and would always be his eyes for him. The horse was a good one. He never questioned what color it was but it was the right height and it had a good gait to it which was all Brady needed to know to ride it. He'd also learned to shift quicker in case the queen needed his help and defense. He was now her right side man and would prove that he was capable of protecting her despite being blind.
He'd practiced throwing off his armour swiftly and he'd also practiced shifting rapidly enough too. He'd also learned to weild a sword with greater ease, and if at all possible, his senses had become so heightened that he could sense things he hadn't before. Like the sound a horses hoove made on softer or harder ground. The sounds of peasants and the sound of royalty. The smell of indoors and the smell of outside. The forest, the fields... her... he could smell her from about ten feet away now if the wind blew in the right direction.
They came to a stop but he knew they weren't there yet because the other men had pulled their horses back and he listened to the soft growls of envy they made. Was she taking him and only him inside? They already thought that he was being favored above the others. Maybe she had been watching all those times when he'd been training. Maybe she felt safer with him... Maybe she felt the same way about him as he felt about her. Interested. No... half the knights were interested in her and frightened of losing their heads.
That's why they stayed at bay. Besides, Murdock had said that she never showed an interest in anything but her husband and barely that even, because she was too concerned with the Kingdom. It would have been a fairytale story. Guinevere and her Lancelot. Brady blinked when the air changed. It was sweeter here. The ground was softer and there was a soft of hair raising feeling that made one be careful what one did. His horse gave a soft grunt underneath him and he reached out to pat the horse's neck calming it. in the process.
Suddenly cheering broke out and the air filled with a flowery scent. Soft, floaty things touched his skin like butterfly wings and he grabbed one against his face. Flower petals. He rubbed it between his fingers and took in the scent smiling at the joy the elves gave at the return of their queen. It was like... he imagined, angels singing in glee. This place was fantastic. This place...He was ever so grateful that he had won her favor. He couldn't think of a better place to come then this one in particular. His horse stopped and finally he got the feeling that he needed to move.
He grabbed his walking stick and slid the leather strap around his wrist before sliding his leg around the back of his horse and dismounting. He turned, sensed the other horse there before him and reached up, accidently brushing at her leg as she spoke. He had never been told that the way he helped her dismount was wrong so he'd never learned a different way. His hands fit easily on her waist and he slid her from the horse onto her feet waiting until he was sure she was okay to stand.
"Thank you, My Queen, for allowing me to experience this. It's amazing here. I could only imagine a place like this being where you came from. " He never seemed to feel her be uneasy because of his white eyes. She didn't seem to mind. He kept his hands on her hips, taking in her scent, revelling in it, waiting for her to dismiss him and pulll away.

Brandon had turned out to be a good student and had learned rather quickly. His other skills had come in handy as well, and he'd rather quickly been knighted. When Malic had retired, Brandon was picked to take his place, although the position hadn't been filled officially as yet. They would need to find a way that it didn't look like favoritism, and her husband, brilliant man that he was, had decided on a combative contest. He only wanted to protect her like she was made of glass, and while Nalaac could understand that, she was not made of glass, and chafed under the constant surveillance.
The queen pushed those thoughts from her head as Brandon swung her down from her horse, and waited until she was steady. If his hands lingered a few moments to long, she barely noticed. "It's my pleasure to share this with you, Brandon." She stepped back, and turned to greet her family that had gathered. She knew that Brandon would stay where he was needed. She didn't question how he knew where she was, but he had an unerring sense like Malic had.
Brandon would be taken to an adjoining room in the small cottage the Elves had for this visit. The two of them would be sharing a relatively small space for the next night and part of the day. Just a kitchen, a small living area, a bath and two bedrooms. All lavishly decorated, all the height of luxury, still very small. A male Elf named Nomeco was with Brandon, going over the layout and security measures they'd taken.
In the meantime, Nalaac was going over the preparations for the ceremony and following feast. It wasn't exciting or anything special, just another birthday celebration in this world. The queen was excited and when she returned to the cabin, she twirled in joy before falling onto the couch in a rare moment of informality.
"Brandon, how do you like my home? Are the security measures up to your standards?"

The queen said that she was delighted to share this with him and Brady nodded in appreciation of her words. With Malic gone, he'd gained a deeper understanding of how things worked. It had been nearly a month now of hard training from sunrise to sun set with little to no break and he'd managed to make it through those hours and hours of hard work, reaching the end only to be reunited with the Queen. He didn't know that he'd taken Malic's job. He just knew that one day, Malic had stopped showing up and a letter of appointment had been given to him.
He was appoiunted as the queen's personal guard. He'd taken to the job quickly despite the feeling of jealousy he recieved from everyone else. He also didn't know that he was to fight for the right to protect her against another knight. All he knew was that he was happiest when he was close to her. And then she was gone. He could hear her talking to her family, kisses were exchanged and an air of excitement flowed around the group. An Elven man came to his side and started talking about the security measures that had been put into place.
To be polite, Brady listened but he had little interest in what was being said, instead keeping his ears on the Queen, her voice easily recognized above the crowd around her. "Can you keep both horses here? " Brady asked softly when Nalaac began to move. The sound of her footfalls on the wooden floor of the cottage, instantly pulled Brady away from the elf in charge of security and he slipped away. Brady paused and turned to frown in the direction he had come from.
"Oh... and I need you to find me two of your most attentive animals. One a dog. One a cat. Bring them here." He was sure it brought a frown from the elf but he heard the elven male's clothes rustle and he knew a bow had followed the request. "Yes, Sir Brandon. Right away." Brady turned and slipped through the group of despersing elvish people into the cottage, slowly closing the door behind him.
He felt the vibration, heard the flow of her skirt and the light patter of her feet as she twirled. The sag of the sofa as she fell into it and smiled still facing the door. There was a sound of comfort in her voice, happiness, relaxation. He'd never heard it before and he wondered at it. Brady turned to face her and stood at ease beside the door one hand on the hilt of his sword, resting lightly, the other on the top of his walking stick. She asked him a question. He knew he'd have to answer truthfully but politely.
"You're not in the castle now. You're home. I think these measures are overrated. I think these ground prevent anything from happening to you. I think you're ... free finally. I hear it in your voice, my lady. You're happy. " Then why had she married that horrible man? Why not remain alone, single and here? He would have and if she had... there would have been a chance for them...
"Do you need anything?" Brady slowly glided his hand along the wall untill he moved closer to the sofa where he was, waiting for her to tell him what she needed so he could continue exploring to find what she wanted him to get her. He felt like he could better protect her if he stayed as close to her as possible and his attempt was to block the window, in case someone had any bright ideas of course.

She knew that her happiness at being home again would be heard by the blind knight. She also knew that he had developed feelings for her. The elven queen was not as blind as people thought, and although she had to maintain a rather cold and distant attitude most of the time, she was well aware of the fact that most of the knights admired her. A few of them even had affairs with her ladies, hoping that it would get them closer to her. It was chivalry at its best, really, though quite a shame since none would realize the dream of obtaining her. The king liked having the knights lust after her, thought it was a great game that he was the only one who could and would have her.
Her smile faded as she thought about her husband. He'd wanted to accompany her on this little journey, and they'd had a massive argument about it. He didn't understand why he would not be allowed to attend, and she'd had to explain, in small, careful words, that he was not an elf, therefore, he could not enter. Only non-elves that were blind, deaf or mute could enter the Elven world. The full magic of the place could not be shattered by those who had full use of all their senses. Even if he attempted to follow her here, and go through the bush she had, he'd find nothing but the same landscape on the other side. This was a magical and protected place.
Truthfully, since he was King, he could have gained entrance as her husband, but she did not want him there for this occasion. This was for her, and she was bound and determined to enjoy it. She had compromised on bringing Brandon, and that was enough. One never knew if perhaps some of the guards were on the payroll of the King rather than herself.
"Oh, it is over-done, Brandon, and that was the King's wish. He wanted to come with me! That would have been a true tragedy. However, we have nothing to do for the next few hours, so we can simply relax. A messenger has already been sent to tell the guards that we arrived safely and we will return in three days time."
Nalaac sat up on the couch, wondering what she should do with all the free time that she suddenly had. "Go, enjoy yourself, good sir knight, my people will be glad to help you find whatever you like. I am going to go and visit with the Elders and discuss some more of the ceremony that is to occur tomorrow. I am told that dinner will be in about three hours, if you wish to eat here with me. Also, we should have two servants showing up soon to help us with our needs."
The blonde really hoped that Brandon would take advantage of the opportunity that he was given. Explore this place, learn about it. It was a rare opportunity for someone of non-elf descent to be allowed in. It had happened from time to time, but generally, it was discouraged.
Nalaac watched Brandon, he really had turned into quite an attractive man with all of the training and sunshine, his skin had become burnished with gold and his muscles were very well defined. He was a good fighter, with great instincts, and she was certainly glad to have him protecting her, even if right now, she didn't need it. Slowly, she got up from the couch and approached him, going up on her toes to press a kiss to his cheek.
"Thank you, Sir Brandon, for coming with me."

Overdone was a but of an understatement. Since gaining the power of shifting. Brandon had been rather reliant and almost dependent on his other senses. Animal instincts were something unique and Brady deemed that it was rather the only thing that could keep people safe most of the time. How many times had a cat or a dog saved their owners from certain death in his world? There was something to be said for animal instincts. Brady had not yet revealed to the queen that he could shift in fear that he'd be called an evil warlock or something.
He really didn't want to die here. He had people back home that he cared about and he needed to get back. If not for his soon to be girlfriend, for Reece who needed him as an elder brother of sorts. It was rather unnerving to think that he was only allowed a few months with the elven queen but was not foolish enough to think that anything would come of it. That didn't mean he didn't fantasize about running his fingers through her hair, undressing her slowly, whispering sweet nothings against her skin and having her giggle or gasp at his touches.
Blind men were good lovers. They were more intimate lovers. Many women in his world didn't see the disability he had but rather the fact that he could possibly make them squirm. He didn't have issues with the fact that he could please her in bed. Getting her in bed though? That would never happen. Brady nodded at her words and stopped when he sensed he was closer to the couch she was lounging on. This place made him feel so safe. Like he wouldn't get stabbed in the back at any point. He didn't feel like she needed his protection here.
This place was a guard in and of itself. It was really amazing to think that it could be so easy. Brady nodded when she announced she had to go meet with some elders. Enjoy himself though? The only thing he would enjoy himself with was her body. They were alone in a house for three days... Brandon closed his eyes a slow smirk washing over his features. Brady's eyes snapped open when she drew closer, hearing her move. His heart hammered in his chest. Her light kiss on his cheek made him gasp. Was that the attention Malic had recieved when he did something good?
Brandon turned his head toward her and moved his hand to cup her cheek. "As a knight I should say: My Lady, it is my great honor to serve you. As a man, I want to say: You couldn't keep me away from your side if you tried. I will serve you in anyway you'll allow me and I will please you." The first part was announced with pride. The second was announced in a slow purr, his words silken as he held her cheek in his hand, not daring to even move his thumb to stroke accross her cheek.
It had to come from her or else it would be seen as treason on his part. He was sure what he was doing was rather safe. He didn't know how men courted in this world. In his, it was basically buy a drink, have dinner, after the third dinner it was go time and this really counted on the make or break. Good thing Brandon was good with that part of courting. Making a woman purr was a speciality of his. "Do all your knights recieve kisses on the cheek or is this some innocent way of saying that you've seen me? .... My lady, I do not mean to be rude."

Nalaac couldn't help but smile at Brandon's words, and the hand on her cheek sent fire down her spine. Certainly more fire than her husband's touch. Of course, the arrangement with the King was business, and although the man knew what he was doing, no doubt due to his rather colorful past prior to their marriage. She enjoyed her relations with the King, but she did wonder what it would be like with others. Not that she was able to indulge in those fantasies. Not only was she Queen, she also had to ensure the heir was the King's. As much as she might wish to indulge with Brandon, she knew that it wouldn't be allowed.
"My sweet knight, as much as the thought of your implication pleases me, it would be the death of both of us." Although the Elf was very tempted to give in, she knew that she simply couldn't. Instead, she gave herself one moment in time, and leaned in to kiss him. The barest brush of her lips against his, and then a more solid kiss, letting it last just a moment longer than was proper, and pulling away again. "I am afraid, Sir Knight, that this is all we are allowed."
Nalaac turned away from him, years of training holding back the sound of her dismay. Tears glittered on her lashes, but she took a deep breath and wiped them away. Once a heir was born, she could have affairs, but until then, she was bound. She turned back around to face her knight, and shook off the sadness and regret. She had a meeting to attend.
"As I said, I will return after my meeting with the elders." Nalaac's voice wavered slightly, but she knew that she was doing the right thing. Still, it wasn't something she wanted to do. She might not care for Brandon as he did her, but she wanted to experience passion and she had a feeling that he would be good at it. Her steps brought her close to him, and then she attempted to pass him on her way to the door.

Brady visably winced at her words. He understood that she was not allowed much but he'd brought his wallet with him and there was condom in there. Though she wouldn't understand at first he would be able to explain to her the concept of safe sex. He'd keep her secret with his life and he would be her loyal lover. He'd never wished to make this commitment to anyone but her voice and her words and everything about her was just so overwhelmingly powerful that he found it hard to resist the urge to kiss her so she knew what passion felt like.
Brady had heard stories of her and the king and how he treated her. He'd had a guard describe a function to him that he'd attended at the queens side and it did not seem like the King paid the Queen any attention at all. She mentioned being killed and he shook his head. "Not if we keep quiet. I can keep quiet. My Queen, trust in me and I have a way for us to make sure there are no pregnancies..." He wanted her so desprately.
Then her lips met his and his hand slid into her hair kissing her deeply, longingly, tasting her lips, his breath hitched against her top lip and he added a growl against her lips to tell her how much he wanted her right now. He was even trembling. She'd made him melt. She had such power over him. Something about her... there was just something about her. He let the faintest breath caress her lips when she pulled back and nearly crumbled. He wanted her so desprately. Brady slid his tongue around his lips to taste her listening to her fabric as she turned away from him, composing herself maybe then she drew close again.
She gave her order and he had a moment where he wanted to take her in his arms and kiss her again and never stop but how could she trust him. He stiffened and stepped aside letting her pass him. "As my lady wishes...." His voice was filled with bitterness and his head was turned away from her waiting for her to pass and leave the room because he felt like a magnet and she was the cold hard steel he ached to cling to.

Sadness pulled at her heart as she left, however, she had duties that she must attend, and she could not ignore them any longer. Her hand brushed his, and she carried the memory of that passionate kiss in with her to the meeting with the elders. She hadn't wanted to leave Brady, she knew far to well that he would be gone sooner than she could ever imagine, but she had to do what she had to do, and even after he was gone, she would have to be Queen. Forever stuck and hoping for him to return to this realm and be in her service once again.
The meeting with the elders was long and grueling, and they saw further into her than she'd thought they would. By the time she was returned to the cabin, three hours later, she was a weak, trembling mess of a girl. No long was she the self possessed Queen of Austreos, no, for the time being, she was simply a 21 year old elven girl. To be able to infuse her with the power that the rite of passage brought, Nalaac had to be stripped of everything. So, when an Elvan man entered, carrying the young queen in and laying her on the bed.
She may have nightmares, call us if you need help. That was all the instruction that Brady was given before he was left alone with the object of his desire. She tossed and turned on the bed, obviously unsettled, and before more than a few minutes had passed, Nalaac bolted upright and began screaming. The blonde clung to Brady when he arrived, sobbing into his chest.
"Sir Brandon...stay with me. I cannot bear to be alone."

Brady closed his eyes when he felt the brush of her hand against his and ignored the shiver reaching up his spine and down to his very toes. He straightened himself up and sat down to compose himself when he was sure she was gone, relaxing into the sofa. Finally he got rid of his armour chest plate so that he was in just a pair of leather pants, soft shoes and a white cotton shirt. The sleeves were rolled up for his excursion around down and he felt no need to carry any weaponry with him as he moved through the streets. He met a kindly old elven woman who offered him a sweetend apple which he ate with a good amount of gratitude.
Once he was completely content with his venturing he returned to the cottage and pulled off his shirt in order to wash himself for bed time. He was in the middle of this when an elven man came in with the Queen in his arms. Brady frowned at the heavy footfalls. Was she okay? Unconcious? It seemed to heavy for the man not to have the queen in his arms and he followed the elven man into the bedroom. The man seemed to lay her down and Brady listened to him leave and then the tossing and turning of his queen and lady.
He flew across to her when she screamed and suddenly her arms were clinging to him. Brady's eyes widened at the feel of her sweat soaked skin, knowing she'd take comfort in how cool he was. His hands moved to remove the soft dendrils of hair sticking to her forehead. "This is why you choose me. Isn't it? No one can see your weakness..." It all made sense now. He was blind. He couldn't see what had happened to her. He ran his hands through her hair and down her back.
"Let me get you a cool cloth? It might make you feel better, my Lady." My love. Oh how he wanted to say that to her instead. His fingers smoothed down her neck and across her feather soft skin touching, caressing, drawing her right into him with his finger tips as he stood waiting for her to release him.

"No, please no, don't leave me." Her voice trembled with her own fear and she clung that much more tightly to Brandon. The cotton slip-like garment she had on did nothing to conceal the feel of her body from his, and how every curve fit together like a perfectly matched puzzle. Nalaac buried her face against his neck, breathing in that scent of his that she loved so much, letting it imprint upon her senses. Everything about him and this night was going to be stored in her memory for all eternity.
She twisted her head, pressing her lips to his, kissing him with all of her rather small experience. Nalaac couldn't stop herself, she wanted him so desperately, and she knew that he would leave her eventually. No matter how she tried to make him stay, the winds of fate would take him from her side. It was something she almost couldn’t bear thinking of. As much as Brandon wanted her, she wanted him. And for this one night, she would not deny …no, she could not deny herself. This was her home, and she had a right to be happy here, even the Elders had said so.
”Take away my nightmares, Brady, give me something better to replace them with.” Her fingers plucked at his shirt, wanting to feel his skin against hers, wanting this to be like a dream that she would never wake from. When her fingers found his flesh, she sighed raggedly, running the pads of her fingers across the indentations of his muscles; memorizing him by touch as he was doing with her. His shirt was removed and Nalaac swallowed hard, he was so beautiful. Her palms traced large cirlces over his chest and back before she began to trail kisses down his neck. She licked his nipples, just to see how he’d react, then sat back, pulling her gown off over her head, revealing her snow-white skin to him. Every sensation, every thought, every touch was heightened, and they were wrapped in a magic bubble that would keep the soon to be lovers safe through the night.

Brady gasped at her words and quickly leaned in to wrap his arms around her crouching beside the bed. The silk against his chest and her body pressed to his felt unbelievably good. Now he couldn't leave even if he wanted to. He couldn't leave her because he absolutely adored being with her. He wanted her so badly. His fingers tangled into her hair and he too clung to her, tightly and longingly though he remembered what she had said. That this could not be. Then suddenly she pressed her lips to his after nuzzling into his neck and his hand came to cup her face, her soft cheek against his rough hands.
Brady gasped at her searching fingers and the desire she hand to feel his skin and slowly began to trail his kisses all along her neck, tasting her soft skin on the very top of his tongue. He moaned, eyes becoming heavy lidded when she did something completely unexpected by placing her lips across his chest then she pulled back and he straightened up listening to the shift of fabric and knowing she was now bared for him. A slow smile played across his lips before he lean in, fingers searching for her skin, he was quick to find her ankle and gently he turned her horizontally to face him across the bed before he shed his own clothes.
There would be no more talking as he lay down across her. Just their bodies together.
~~~
When they were both exhausted from their love making Brady wrapped his arms around her from behind her pulled her into his chest, kissing up her neck and enfolding her against him, protectively. "Are you satisfied my queen,...?" Brady whispered in her ear watching the moolight's glow on her face. It would be dawn soon and he'd finally had her in his arms although this would make the tension even harder to resist when she was anywhere near him.
"My love..." He whispered again tracing more tender kisses along the nape of her neck. "What happened to 'this is all we're allowed'? I thought you would be the stars to me. " His hand smoothed up her forms under the covers from her hips to her shoulders before running up and down her back to make her feel more relaxed.
"I wish I was your King. I would never treat you the way he does. You would never feel the pain of seeing another woman in my company because all I would want is you..." He whispered. It completely slipped his mind though, the fact that he had a condom in the lounge in his shoulder bag. He had just wanted her so badly and he'd managed to have her twice giving her the same pleasure a couple of more times. He would be ready again if she wished in about half an hour. He had the stamina to make this night unforgetable.
Nalaac made a contented murmuring sound when Brady asked her if she was satisfied. She was more satisfied than she’d ever been with the King, and a lazy smile danced on her lips as her body undulated in a stretch against his. The woman was happier than she’d been in a long while, and she simply nodded in response to his question, then snuggled back into him, her bottom rubbing against his groin. Her head was pillowed on one of his arms, and their legs were tangled together with the sheets. It was just like she’d always heard it would be from her parents and siblings. Nal was in complete heaven.
A heaven that began to shatter when Brady kept talking. He needed to just be quiet and enjoy the time they were enjoying. If she thought to much, she’d go back to being a Queen, and this not being allowed, and she wasn’t ready for that yet. His touches felt so good, and she would purr if she were a cat with all the stroking he was doing. Eventually, she answered his questions in a soft whisper. ”This is all we have, Brady, you’re a traveler. In another month or so, you’ll be ripped from me, and go I know not where. This night is all we will ever have, do we have to waste it speaking of wretched things?”
Nalaac turned to face him, her face pleading, and a hand cupping his cheek. ”Just love me for tonight, for when the dawn comes, we will once again have to be what fate has decreed.” The thought brought a tear to her eye, which she attempted to blink away. She wanted nothing to spoil this time with him, even though it was to end so soon. She kissed him softly, her hand trailing down over his hip to the more sensitive flesh below.
Two hours later, while they were once again resting, and dawn had come and gone, a knock came on the door.
The Elders call for the girl, Nalaac, to assume her powers, please present yourself at the Elder hut in the next five minutes.
It was all said in Elf, so Nalaac was certain that everyone knew what they were doing in their own hut. Fire climbed her cheeks as she kissed Brady lingeringly one last time. ”It’s time for the transfer. Would you like to come?”
Brandon was used to being a sweet talker and having her against him like that, he struggled to keep his mouth shut and his tongue still. He wanted to confess to her how much he adored her and how much he wanted to be with her. He hated the fact that she grew almost cold in his arms when he mentioned her King. Of course he had not meant to do such a thing and almost instantly regretted it but he had to tell her. Brandon flinches at her words when she turned to him and tilted his face into her hand, closing his eyes and touching his lips to hers.
The kiss deepened and they were soon entangled again. It was a night of very little sleep and when the knock came to the door Brady was yerked awake by it. He listened intently to the strange language and when he was sure the men left that were at their door he shifted to stretch out against her like a lazy cat trying to wake up as much as he could. He'd only had about half an hour sleep before the knock on the door. As Nalaac moved to talk to him, he gave a groan and murmurred lazily into the pillow.
"In a day or so..." Brady pulled her closer against him and playfully bit into her shoulder before kissing her cheek and finding her lips. He kissed her deeply cupping her face with his hand. "About what you said last night. You're wrong. I'll stay... I just know it. And if I do disappear you'd better believe that I'll be coming back to you and only you before you even have time to miss me."
Brady whispered against her lips before kissing her again and moving to the other side of the bed to try and find his clothes which were most likely scattered around the room. "This transfer? What is it?" He asked as he finally found his pants. Boy did he ever miss Kennie now and how she used to bring him whatever he needed. He needed a new seeing eye dog damn it.
"I need a dog..." He muttered to himself under his breath as he got to his feet and headed for the basin. "My love, I'll go with you wherever I'm allowed...." Brady said over his shoulder, grinning as he allowed his hand to guide him where he needed to go.
