With a moan, Thalia collapsed on her queen sized bed, her crapped rooms suddenly feeling smaller than usual. The earlier day's events were set up at a trip to her grandmother's home down the street. She apparently called upon her family for help around the backyard. The old woman finally was sick of the junkyard field of hers and Thalia was one of her many people, including a bundle of her cousins, to help out in the yard work. They were done hours later and ended up staying for lunch and dinner. Thalia was pretty content when her parents mentioned their time to leave. It wasn't that Thalia wanted to go, but the days work had killed her energy and all she wanted to do was to answer the call of her sweet soft bed.
Thali's dark eyes glanced up at the popcorn ceiling, suddenly seeing little figures such as a unicorn and lightning bolt and was fascinated in the act. The popcorn ceiling hunt usually brought the girl quickly to sleep and as expected she did, dozing of slowly into a peaceful rest...
It was an odd dream. Or an odd not-a-dream. Thalia always had dreams, one of going off to far away land, mainly London or Paris, a few of her favorite destinations she would kill to go or maybe one of her flying which was popping up recently, but this dream was different. It was just colors, beautiful colors coming and going around her, but not around her. She wasn't in the dream, it was just like watching TV screen that flashed an array of colors and sparkles. It almost reminded Thalia of a " Back in Time" sort of movie where they were launched into a portal and travel through the dimensions of space. It was intriguing.
the dream shortly ended with a rattling, shaking Thalia out of her dreamy state with a squeaky yelp. Her eyes flashed open, meeting a bamboo stick wall. Thalia examined the bar intently. It almost resembled a cage like wall. Thalia turned down to feel under her. More Bamboo. Thalia reached out to touch the bamboo wondrously. It felt so real and so cold. Thalia shivered at the sudden chill.
" Oooh! Lookie who gotten up! Better tell cap'in" A queer voice spoke up cheerfully, causing Thalia to turn, just capturing a dark pair of eye before a scrawny man hopped away from the dark room, giggling hysterically. Thalia's eye burrowed in confusion as she glanced around. She was indeed in a cage and she as indeed not home in her bed.
A dream. This is all just another dream. Thalia thought but as her senses slowly took in the area, she realized the whole scene looked to real to be true. The smells were to vivid as well as the small detailed carvings on some on the walls. She sat gaping silently as she took in the dark musky room before finally realizing the situation.
I've been kidnapped. She thought in shock as she leaned up against the cage. Thalia thought over the events of the night before. She was asleep. Had she locked her window? Oh yes, she did. Her mother always reminded her to before bed and she had. The scene was still fresh in her head as she remembered, turning back to other options. Did someone break in and take me? No. Thalia was a light enough sleeper to have heard her door open. Unless she was so tired she hadn't. Fear gripped her heart tightly as she thought of her parents.
The door slammed open, causing Thalia to jump from her spot, the box shaking threateningly along with her. A tall man stood, his stony expression slowly loosening up as he revealed a dirty smile, behind him followed two large brutes and the scrawny small man that was with her earlier. Thalia, now rendered to more silent gaping just sat watching the men as they entered, the small man jumping joyously as he began talking gibberish
" See! See! I told you! I Told you cap'in! the wench is 'wake!"
Wench? Thalia thought, suddenly offended as the tall, best looking man of them all shot the man a fiery glare, rendering the weird man to a similar gaping silence. His greedy eyes then turned back to Thalia, changing instantly as they slowly ranked across her small body. Thalia followed his line of vision, her jaw dropping as she realized she as still in her pajamas consisting of the suddenly to short black shorts fashions with little stars and a Midnight blue tank top. Her face was swallowed in a bright flush as her hands found to cover all the cleavage, her enraged glare cooking up and on the one called "Cap'in"
" Who the hell are you and where am I?!" She yelled angrily, shifting in the cage, trying to find the position the most covered her cleavage. " Where are my parents and whats up with the pirate decor? Kidnappers usually wear black attire with matching ski masks, not torn and battered tunic shit." She shot through bared teeth, fusterated as she realized there was no position worthy enough to cover come over her cleavage.
The man almost seemed excited watching her scene, amused but ultimately excited as his eyes brightened and widened at times. " Aye, she's a feisty one. She'll be a tough one to break but my boys won't have a problem with that will ya boys?" The brutes behind him chuckled eerily, sending shivers down Thalia's spine.
" You can call me Captain, or soon Master." He spoke simply, but those words held so much power than his easy way as he neared the cage. Thalia found herself leaning as far back away from him as she listened in horror. " You are on my ship in my town. Your parents might as well be dead right now so no need to worry. Besides, we'll take care of you-"
Thalia yelped as something sharp poked her in the back, causing her to jump forward instinctively into the hands of the Captain, his hand clutching her throat while the other caressed her face. " Hmmm... So soft..." He spoke softly, his breath creating a chain of uncontrollable shivers that attacked her body as horrible was his eyes continued to.
" Let me go." Thalia fought to say, praying ti would come out as strong as she imagined but found it more shaky and quiet, less menacing than she could ever dream of.
His grip tightened slightly, causing a low whimper in the back of the girl's throat. Her eyes widened as they were locked in with the Captain's, his eyes flashing with sudden anger. Thalia was through, back, landing with a quiet moan as she bit her lip.
" Only the Captain tell orders around here. It'd be wise to learn that now or else I promise, I will punish you... and it won't be a sweet one..."
Thalia's eyes widened at his words, looking down at the bamboo cage she sat in. Her heart pounded painfully in her chest at the thought of her parents dead. Blood everywhere. Thalia felt tears fall from her face, her body suddenly shaking in fear. She was alone and fearfully scared for her life. A creaking behind her froze her in place as suddenly, a pair of hand dragged her out. She wailed, clawing the ground for something to grab but was suddenly lifted up, a hand covering her mouth while another hand held back her hands behind her back. More tears fell as she was met with the Captain again, his eyes once again drinking her up, a sob erupted in a muffle.
" Be quiet." the pirate snarled behind her, causing her to freeze her motions, even stopped her from breathing as she stood in the presence of the Captain.
" Do not scream, do not cry out. I will not hurt you. Will you do that for me?" The captain spoke softly, forcing a nod out of Thalia and the mouth released her. Thalia gasped softly for air, her tear rolling off her cheeks uncontrollably. " Will you be a good wench and wait in this room for me?" Thalia nodded fearfully again, shaking violently now. " Good..." His voice rumbled as he turned, walking out. The only thing keeping her up were the strong arms holding her up, so when they left, Thalia felt herself collapse tot he wooden floor, silently sobbing as her dark hair covered her face. She heard the door behind her slam shut, but just before it did, all she heard was the captain's last chuckling words " I spoke spoke to soon, she'll be easy..."
Thalia looked up at the empty room, wiping the tears from her face only to find more in its place. She had to get out, escape as soon as she could before she would soon be turned to the hands of the ruthless pirates...
