Another thing that he hated to do was inspections of rooms. He didn't feel like he had a right to go through other people's belonging like he was expected too. They were confiscating any contraband items from patients who had the right connections with staff in the fascility to bring them things like Cigarettes and alcohol and even drugs and weapons. He didn't know what the staff were taking in return and Drew wasn't sure if he wanted to know. It was rough and vicious to think that anyone could be that cruel. Most of the people in here were addicted to their contrabands.
The nicotine coursing through their veins and making their bodies numb. The alcohol numbing their senses and making their heads spin happily. The cut of a knife or stab of a nail to ease those whispering voices telling them how they happen to be a waste of time. Drew fought constantly against those voice but it never did help much when those voices were so deep ste within a person's mind that freedom was hardly an option. Drew slipped through the corridors where patients stood beside their doors while their rooms were being turned upside down and inside out by orderlies searching for anything the patients might have gotten.
Finally, Drew came to a door that had no paintient waiting before it and he half kicked the ajar door in to peek in the room curious as to what might have occured. "Hello? Anyone here?" Drew asked cautiously before stepping inside carefully, blue eyes flicking constantly around the room. He'd been jumped by a patient before. It was never pretty.

You have been visited byTime for a change of Meds. These orderlies mean business.
The orderlies noticed the good doctor's battle and quickly came forward in a group to help the doctor deal with the reluctant patient. It was times like these that the orderlies lived for. Times like these were what the orderlies loved. As the band stepped through the door behind the doctor, they were armed and ready to launch their attack on the poor patient or victim within. Anyone who joins this thread with Doctor Drew will be in charge of the orderlies. Please read up on them and remember to have fun!And remember, Your meds have now changed to give you the following side effect(s): Nausea

He'd awoken strapped to the bed and heard the call for inspections, groaning. He was supposed to inspect the east wing, but something was obviously very wrong here. He rattled and shook the restraints, knowing what potentially awaited him if he was not standing outside the door, ready for the doctors and orderlies to swarm the ward and check the room. He kept trying to get himself loose, unsure why he was now in this position. He'd gone to sleep in his own bed, and now he was here.
The good doctor came through the door, and Nate looked at him with wide frightened eyes. The orderlies scrambled in behind, swarming towards the now violently struggling man on the bed. One of the orderlies grinned down at Nate and held up a syringe of something clear, squirting a bit out of the tip, waiting on Drew's word to inject the reluctant patient on the bed.
"Drew, please, help me!" Nate struggled, hoping that the doctor would come and save him from the fate that was currently awaiting him. He didn't know why he was here, and he didn't know how he'd gotten there, but he was going to be screwed if he stayed here.

Drew's eyes widened when he noticed the reluctant patient on the bed was someone he recognized. How did he go from a receptionist to this. Drew rushed forward to stop the orderlies from injecting Nate with the injections. "Noooo Wait! Please. I uh... got this. Please. " He repeated worriedly. He didn't know how to get them to back up or what had happened to cause Nate to be in the possition he was in.
Nate wasn't High Risk. He wasn't even medium risk really. He was completely a low risk patient and he should have been able to walk freely around the institution. The orderlies though, meant business and they liked causing trouble and making patient's suffer. He'd never much liked the orderlies. They never much liked Drew. They were from two different sides of the coin. The orderlies believed in punishment for bad behavior and Drew believed in rewarding good behavior so that less bad behaviour would happen and now, he depended on them to let Nate go.
Drew's hands were already trembling, he just wanted Nate to remain safe and secure. How ever this had happened, he'd get to the bottom of it. "Why is he here? What does he have? He's tied to a bed. He can't really go stand waiting for inspection can he? " Drew tried to both reason with the orderlies and get more attention, flashing his eyes at each and every one of them.

It was partially to late, the orderly had gotten anxious and pushed the needle into Nate's skin, the words barely stopped his thumb on the plunger. The orderly jerked out the needle, uncaring of any pain that Nate might be experiencing. His eyes were almost disappointed when he looked at Drew and frowned. He motioned the others back, making a small bit of room around the bed that Nate was strapped to.
Nate struggled on the bed, a burning sensation at his neck where the needle had gone in and out with such unconcern. He was glad that Dru's voice had caused them to stop, but he was still worried as they hovered around the bed looking at him with greedy and hateful eyes. They seemed to want to eat him alive, and to Nate, it was worse, because they were all dying. One was bloody and broken, another was zombiefied, another had a broken neck and no eyes. It was really terrifying and Nate was barely holding himself together.
Drew bombarded the dying orderlies with questions, and Nate frowned, wanting Drew to get him out of the restraints. Still, the dying creatures seemed to respond, the one having the needle being the spokesperson. "Inspection means everyone turns out! He's dangerous or he wouldn't be tied to the bed. All patients are to be untied for inspection. If they are still tied, they are dangerous." It sounded like the orderly was spouting off rules rather than his own opinion.
Nate looked between everyone, then spoke quietly. "If you let me loose, I promise to behave and listen to what everyone says." He was hoping it would be enough to get him loose, and then he would be more comfortable, right now, he was starting to flip out.

As soon as the orderlies parted way for him, Drew was at Nathanial's side stroking his hair back from his face as he struggled against the binds he had. He knew partially why he was so devoted to young Nate. Nate was handsome and had a seductive tone to his voice. Drew was lonely and Nate had all the power in the world over Drew. The orderlies made even Drew nervous and he closed his eyes for a second still trembling as he ran his fingers through Nate's hair to try and calm him down.
"Shhhhh, You're only making this worse on yourself. You need to calm down and take deep breathes..." Drew purred only to Nate softly, in a comforting tone of voice. Drew frowned at the spokesperson of an orderly over his shoulder and shook his head. The fates had put Nate here. The travellers were suffering in this place full of ghosts and evil orderlies. He turned his attention back to Nate and growled.
"Well you can all leave now please. He is my patient. I will tend to him from here on in. " Drew said in a voice that held authority. He waited for the orderlies to leave him frowning at Nate's words and stroking softly, comfortingly, never stopping. His eyes softened on Nate. "Shhh Nate. I'm sorry this world chose you to be in this situation but I'm here. Just trust me and do as I say. Deep breathes okay?" Drew instructed worried for his young patient.

Nate only partially calmed as Drew came to him and stroked his hair back. He took a few deep breaths as Drew requested, but nothing really helped until the dead orderlies left. His breath came out in harsh pants that slowly began to regulate themselves and the dark eyes became a bit less wild. He struggled a bit in his restraints, and gave a quiet whimper.
"Get me out of these. Please."
The dark haired boy was staring resolutely at the ceiling, trying not to look to much at the ghosts floating around Drew's head. There was one staring at him balefully, and he wondered if it was an old lover that was jealous. The good doctor was attractive, but he was in no state to really do much about it. He needed to be released first, then he could start thinking about it. Right now though, there was simply to much death around him.
"I'm trying, but you have to let me go!"
Nate struggled more, his body twisting on the uncomfortable bed. Please let the good doctor listen to him and get him off the mattress he was strapped to. When he was let go he would be able to give in to his need to draw, because he was going quite crazy not being able to do anything about the images he was being bombarded with.
Soon, the good doctor would be forced to realize that he was apeshit.
