The sea's waves wash gently at the shore right down from my little town that I run. It's built from a ship -- she was grand in her old days, aye she was... and though life is hard here, we know how to have ourselves a good time. My men and I come through the storms with flying colors and always will, because if we don't, well, I have to cut the weakest link. Fine by me; I don't mind having their share of the booty.

As for me, ain't nothing like a good jug of rum and a buxom beauty, so long as she knows her place. But I always make sure they do, be they women or no. Wouldn't mind getting me one o' them women that live over there in that village, but they don't know their places. And I always get what I want, no matter what. I don't take to outsiders well; they don't belong here, none of 'em do. But ye god are they fun to play with on those rare and priceless occasions we do get them...
