I come from a place where ....
The apocalypse struck in the form of virus that came from biological warfare. All of the adults were killed (including my absolutely horrid stepmother) leaving us teens and kids to fend for ourselves. Brookfield is a city where most kids have organized themselves. I hate the city and I don't like socializing with the people there. I chose to live on a farm with my little brother, Jules. My older brother, Brian, who basically abandoned us before the war as soon as he finished high school, chose otherwise.
On the farm, I worked with the cows primarily. I play the violin since that's my only link to my mom. She died when I was only two years old and then my dad married that woman who is Jules' mother. Life was hellish for me and Brian. I tried to make sure Jules never found out. Then Dad was shot in the city and things just got worse from there. I was in a relationship briefly with my best friend, Reece Turner, but things didn't work out when Brian left.
And now you will see that I am very much human.
