Darting swiftly around the trees, Elizabeth kept her paws pretty much in the air, or as close as before she halted to a stop in the shadow of a tree.
She'd found herself in this place pretty much the day after she had spoken to Queen Nalaac and was now cursing whatever deity was in control of this place. She wasn't meant to 'jump' for another two months which would have been quite opportunistic for her and her.... Problem.
So now, not only was she a fox of all things (well better than a deer, she thought to herself) she has been forever running, keeping away from anyone and anything in order to keep herself, and more importantly everyone else, safe from each other.

He wandered through the woods, finding himself becoming more and more comfortable in this odd place. It wasn't what he would have wished for, but it was what he managed to adapt to, and the nobleman was quite impressed with himself. He'd always thought of himself as something of a throwback, and this only proved to his own mind how well he'd done to keep up in old skills such as hunting. Thomas had a great capacity to ignore those things that he wasn't any good at, like shelter and clothing and hiding.
Still, as the blonde settled into the crook of a branch above the forest floor. He'd found he could hunt deer better if he was disguised up in a tree, and he hadn't eaten much in the last day. He was hoping for a nice large deer, preferably one that did not speak, to feast on. However, he saw the fox and smiled. That would make a nice appetizer.
Almost silently, he readied an arrow and took careful aim, letting it fly and hoping it found it's target. The fox was in the shadows and it was hard to get an exact hit in the hindquarters to disable the animal. It was his way now, disable the animal, and if it didn't scream or talk, then he could kill and eat it. There were way to many talking animals in this place.

Hearing the hiss of an arrow slicing through the air, Elizabeth looked up , her fox ears pricked up and she started to dart away but the arrow caught the back of her leg which made her stumble a little onto the ground.
In those few little moments, her control of her emotions slipped and many emotions filled the air. Fear, confusion, pain and somewhat oddly, the lingering base emotion of desire but more specifically the desire to mate, not that it was likely to be translated in a Human mind anyway.
Waiting for a mere moment, Elizabeth's wound knitted itself back together seamlessly with only a small amount of blood having seeped through so Elizabeth got back up and began to run again. "Bloody typical! I'm forever running!" She stated in animal talk, though the frustration could be felt in the air as the Angel fought for control. And her life.

Thomas cursed as the fox got back to it's feet and darted off. The emotions that filled the air confused and startled him, but he thought nothing more of it as his prey ran off through the woods. He was not pleased that the fox had gotten away, and although he heard the words, he didn't really register them right away.
His attention was pulled away from the fox by a deer that came by, and he nocked an arrow and let it fly, bringing the animal to the ground and descending from the tree to make sure it didn't talk before killing it. He built a fire and after skinning the deer, cooked a bit of the meat. At this point, he was highly grateful for the hunting he'd done at home before going off to university, at least he had a good idea of what to do.

Having gotten away swiftly, Elizabeth stopped as she twisted around to lick off the blood on her leg. Looking in the direction she had gone, Elizabeth heard the signs of an arrow hitting it's target and then someone skinning an animal as she mentally said a prayer. Poor thing.
"Don't people understand how some of the animals might be fellow Travellers?!" She mused to herself angrily as she checked her area before moving off again. At this point, she will be forever running.
