More hiding and less Sunlight (Open)

[Eunice]

Summer was fast approaching. Because of that, there had become more sunlight and less places to hide which made the poor vampire nervous enough to go and consult Mr. Grumpy Bear King Ruppo, who agreed to take her to the caves where she would be safe to stay until Summer passed and he needed his caves again. Bell did all the checks to make sure she was safe, comfortable and had enough nesting to keep herself warm with. She didn't think Bell understood the concept of vampires being bloodless creatures.

Bell had double, triple, quadruple and... whatever came after quadruple... checked the place to make sure everything was fine for Eunice to rest. It had been rainy during the night and windy during the day for the last week so there was really not much for Bell to do than to scurry into the cave with her. After the experience with the hunter, Bell didn't stray far from her anymore and was particularly protective of her now adays. She thought that maybe he just didn't want to loose his friend.

Bell told Eunice, on these rainy nights about Charlise and she told him about her beloved Tatius who held on too tightly, eventually smothering her. Today had been another bright day so Eunice found herself along again. The moment the sun started to set behind the mountains, Eunice ventured outside. She was getting used to her animal body and found herself almost enjoying things it had to offer her. How she could fit in cracks, climb high trees and hide very easily in the grass.

It was a game of survival out here and she was very fortunate not to be a deer... Eunice settled on the edge of a rock right in front of the mouth of her cave and stretched her little form, this way and that.
~Mother moon. Where are you?! I'm so awfully hungry.~
It was dangerous for her to go too far in the woods without knowing the sun had properly s-.

Eunice crouched suddenly when she heard a twig snap behind her and twisted to look behind her, her ears and nose twitching to try and work out who was coming her way.

[Elizabeth Aura]

Coming to a trot after her full pelt run, or at least as much of a trot as far as foxes go anyway, Elizabeth panted a little as she came to a full stop and rested herself in the shade of some trees.

Since she was taken away from Jamie and dumped into this place as a Fox, Elizabeth had pretty much been running from anyone and anything save for the moments she rested, drank and ate whatever she could find that wasn't an animal. She was guessing that if you were not a Hunter, then you were most likely an animal in this place so she wasn't keen on eating any animal which might be a traveller.

Lying down, Elizabeth let her quickened heart slowly begin to decrease in speed as she put her head on her paws. She'd stayed away from anyone, especially Males as this place was most likely to be crawling with them so she was not keen on going anywhere near them, but right now she was exhausted. "This..... Is not helping my Season!" She muttered under her breath in the tongue of animals, not knowing that someone was nearby.

[Eunice]

A fox came trotting out of the forest and seemed to flop right there complaining about seasons...Eunice froze up on her rock and stared, until the wind swept the warm scent of a blood her way. Strange new blood. Not really Fox fox blood but something different. Something new and unique. Not at all human. The little squirrel almost moved toward Elizabeth before coming to her senses as a squirrel and realizing that the fox could definitely eat her. Eunice tried to hiss and stood up as tall as she could on her hind legs to see if she would scare the fox away.

"If you eat me I'll give you indigestion! I'm not kidding either!"
She tried to growl but it came out sounding more like a kitten's purr.

[Elizabeth Aura]

Looking up as she heard someone speak to her, Elizabeth saw the squirrel and, sort of, quirked an eyebrow in confusion until comprehension hit her and Elizabeth smiled a little before replying, "No need to worry about that dear. I've been going as much against nature as possible. I know better than to possibly eat a fellow Traveler."

Looking at the squirrel closely, Elizabeth hummed in thought before a hint of curiosity came into her eyes, remarkably still holding some semblance of her emerald eyes. "What is your name, dear?" She asked as she waited for her breath to catch up before she got up and approached the squirrel carefully before lying down at the foot of the rock so that she didn't seem threatening.

[Eunice]

Eunice lowered herself a little sniffing in the woman's direction when she mentioned that she would go against nature and try not to eat a fellow traveler.
"Traveler? What do you mean Traveler?"
She asked cautiously her trembling still apparent out of both fear and desire for the blood that was held in the other woman's body. Eunice scrambled backward when the fox came for her and tumbled down the other side of the rock, luckily landing on all four hands like a cat.

Cautiously Eunice started walking slowly around the boulder, keeping her body low to the ground as she peeked around the side at the emerald eyed fox.
"Eunice..."
She answered uncertainly.

[Elizabeth Aura]

Elizabeth looked at Eunice before smiling at her question of Travellers, "People like you and me, not from this place but thrown in from many other worlds and realities to here, where we have to survive in a place we don't belong." She replied as she looked at the Squirrel, trying to figure out what was wrong.

"What is it that makes you quake so, Eunice?" Elizabeth asked as she licked her paw a little, though it wasn't the best of ideas as now she had some fur in her mouth and it was horrible! "My name is Elizabeth.... Elizabeth Aura." She stated in reply to the fact that Eunice gave her name.

[Eunice]

Eunice's eyes washed with Red as the blood lust was soon awakened in her and she nodded listening intently to the spoken words. Okay, so they were all travelers from different places. That was good. At least she knew now that she wasn't going mad. She was okay and normal so that was good thing. Eunice gave a big long groan and began pawing at her face with her hands. She gave an unsquirrel like hiss when she was asked why she was scared.

"Just stay back. Or better yet. Go away. I'll bite you!"
She said clearly and carefully hoping the woman would take her advice and just back off. She was so hungry!

[Elizabeth Aura]

Hearing the groan, Elizabeth tilted her head in confusion as Eunice pawed at the ground before a hiss came out which certainly was not squirrel like.

When Eunice gave her warning, all became very clear as Elizabeth merely blinked, "You are a Vampire then." It wasn't a question but a statement of understanding as Elizabeth stayed where she was before adding, "Take what you need dear, I will not stop you from doing something that you need to do in order to survive."

It wouldn't be the first time that Elizabeth had let a Vampire feed on her after all. There were a fair few in her world, though they were not the same as the Sanguine Vampiris that ruled her world in the Ancient Days, and the odd couple that still roamed today.

[Eunice]

Eunice blinked repeatedly when she said those words. Vampire. How did she knew? Then she was invited to drink. WHAT? Was this some kind of hunter? Was this some trick? Eunice shook her head in a terrified way and stared from the fox to the cave behind the fox. Too far, even with her speed she didn't think she'd make it past the Fox. Her eyes returned to the fox and she gave her a soft little whimper.

"Please don't hurt me... I don't mean to be what I am. I was forced! I maker forced me."
And yet, she'd love Tatius. Tatius who had haunted her. Taitus who had ruined her life, killed her father, set about killing many of the palace people and she loved him with all her heart. She had strong blood in her. The blood of the first. She knew what that meant.
"I am the blood of the first. I am the second line. You cannot kill me. I am also the Queen of Rome."
She hoped that this fox knew what that meant.

[Elizabeth Aura]

Elizabeth looked at the young squirrel and sighed softly, "I won't hurt you...... But I know you won't survive long without blood.... And my own will sustain you for longer, being 1/2 Angel, besides there's less energy involved in feeding off of a willing host, is it not?" She stated as she looked straight at the squirrel.

"No one chooses to be as they are, my child..... We merely have to accept what we can about our changes and move on.... To be stuck in the past, is to die...." Elizabeth mused as she emitted her calm aura, showing the squirrel that she wouldn't harm her at all. her green eyes looked at Eunice with care and concern, not for herself but for Eunice. She knew that some Vampires couldn't walk out in the sun like the ones from her world.

She did quirk an eyebrow though at the mention of blood of the first, "Not exactly but I'll hazard a guess that having such blood means that you are sensitive to sunlight, especially if you have not hunted in a while and your strength and speed becomes depleted." She pointed out.

[Eunice]

Eunice blinked repeatedly when she was offered the blood and stared at the fox before her. Willing host caught her attention. She had a willing host... Bell... though he was not here right now...Then again... she mentioned that Eunice wouldn't have to drink so much if she drank from this fox. The little vampire found that a little hard to believe but she slowly tilted her head up. Food... The Fox did smell good...Her tail raised into the air a little in curiosity.

"Why are you being so nice to me?"
Eunice asked softly, uncertainly. Eunice quirked her back straight up proudly when she heard Liz's guess and shook her head rapidly.
"Actually the complete opposite! I can go without blood for a little longer than most new borns AND I can walk in the sun unlike other vampires."
With that, Eunice darted a little closer to Liz and peeked up at her.

"I would like a drink though.... in the cave..."
With that the little squirrel darted out of the shade and rushed to the cool of the cave slipping quickly over to a big rock that she scrambled onto to wait for Liz to join her.
"I don't live alone here... did I mention yet?"
She wanted Liz to know that if she got killed people would track the fox's scent down and come for her.... Ruppo would do that for her right?
