Xavier stirred in a bed. An actual bed. He was becoming full aware of himself now. He was becoming full intelligent again. That's what had attracted one of the warriors to him. His beautiful wings. They wanted a daughter with wings like his. That was why they took him to their beds and that was where he woke up. Of course the moment he woke up, he carefully began slipping from the bed he was in careful not to disturb the sleeping woman. Once his feet his the ground he ran as fast as he could. He dashed from the camp.
His wings snapped and flapped at the air surrounding them and he actually took off flying into the sky. There were cries behind him from angry women screaming of an escaped slave. Xavier didn't want to look back. He just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. Xavier's powerful wings graced the tree tops, then... he came crashing downward when he realized his height. He plummeted into the foliage and hit the ground somewhere in the forest with a hard thud, knocked completely unconscious.
