It was nearly seven pm and it was time for Jason to take on his guard shift. He wasn't too eager for it but thinks had to be done in order to make sure he played his part well enough. With Jamie's disappearance, it was growing harder to try and make sure Blaine liked him enough to keep him on as the healer in the town. He hated being a kiss ass but if it meant having his butt well in the butter he didn't quite mind. Jason pulled himself to his feet once he was dressed in the heavy suit of armor and headed out his room.
Normally he was the one manning the wall so that was where he was heading first. He hated being up there on his own but if it stopped intrusions than so be it. The herbalist trainee was finding that not quite that many people needed help so he was indeed happy about that. Every time someone did come to him for help or herbs he'd have to grab at books and notes from Liz or Jamie to read up on what these patients required. Mixing drafts for Blaine and his queen was even worse.
He totally preferred guard duty over that but the fact that he was the resident healer meant that he could live in the HUGE apartment all by himself so he would do his damnde- Jason froze, his eyes locking on a boy that looked very much li-... Bell! Suddenly he was slammed into on his way through the town's main street and Jason broke his attention on Bell to look down at whoever he'd sent to the ground. He even scowled down at them before twisting to where he'd seen his younger brother and found.... nothing.
Jason twisted back to the person who'd bumped into him, fury gripping at his face and his heart. His baby brother had gotten away because someone couldn't look where they were damned well going...
"Do You not have eyes?!"
He screamed causing a few people to stop and turn to the yelling.
